Mark Webre is assistant director of the Little Rock Department of Parks and Recreation. He is also project manager on a $700,000 project to create the Riverfront Adventure Park, a new playground in Riverfront Park. Park revenue bonds are paying for $325,000 of the cost of construction, and the Peabody Hotel is contributing $250,000 in exchange for naming rights. Park of the playground will be called Peabody Park.

Webre is currently working on a project to relocate an electrical building standing in the way of the building of a River Trail entrance to the pedestrian and bike path across the Junction Bridge in downtown Little Rock. The removal of the building also clears the way for the excavation of land obscuring direct line of sight to the Arkansas River as well as views of La Petite Roche.
