C. E. Stephens

C. E. Stephens was junior partner and machinist in the firm of D. R. Wing & Co. in Little Rock, Arkansas. Stephens learned the woodworking and machinists' trades as a youth in St. Louis, Missouri. He joined several railroads as a machinist before moving to Little Rock in 1873 to work for the Little Rock and Fort Smith Railroad. In 1875 he joined the firm of D. R. Wing.
