The Arkansas River Historical Society operates a museum and hall of fame at the Port of Catoosa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Port of Catoosa is part of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System.

The Arkansas River Historical Society was founded in 1981. The purpose of the organization is to preserve the history of human activity along the Arkansas River and educate the public on river's role in mid-South life. The Society's museum explores the history of the Arkansas River and McClellan-Kerr navigation system, as well as the history of steamboating, cargo shipping, and and basin archaeology. The museum holds a collection of photographs, memorabilia, and Indian artifacts. The museum has a working model of a lock-and-dam. The museum is also home to the retired Towboat M/V Charley Border.

The museum is located at 5350 Cimarron Road at the Port of Catoosa.
