Menifee

Menifee is an incorporated town in southeastern Conway County, Arkansas. The town is located along U.S. Highway 64 between Plumerville and Conway. The town is served by Interstate 40 interchange 117. The population of Menifee is 311.

Menifee is located 322 feet above sea level.

History

Menifee is named after the community of Menifee, Kentucky. In the early morning hours of May 6, 1960, a tornado destroyed thirteen houses, two churches, the African American high school, and a local post office. One woman was killed and twenty-four others injured.
