In central Arkansas U.S. Highway 64 connects Beebe with Conway, passing through Vilonia and Hamlet in Faulkner County. From Conway the highway roughly follows the right bank of the Arkansas River, passing through Menifee, Plumerville, Morrilton, and Kenwood on its way to Russellville.
