The twenty-one story Union National Bank Building at 124 West Capitol Avenue was the tallest tower in Arkansas in 1968 and 1969. The building was constructed by the Pickens-Bond Construction Company.

The tower was occupied from its opening until 1993 by Union National Bank. The building was surpassed by the Worthen Bank Building situated across the street in November 1969. The Union National Bank Building is now known as One Union Plaza, and encompasses over 260,000 square feet of space.
