Songham Martial Arts Gate

The Songham Martial Arts Gate stands in the River Market District near the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. The gate is a symbol of "welcome" to city visitors and pays tribute to the popularity of taekwondo in the state. Early interest in the martial art was encouraged by Eternal Grand Master H. U. Lee, whose bust stands nearby. Little Rock plays host to the ATA World Championships and is home to the American Taekwondo Association.
