Robert H. "Bunny" Adcock Jr.

Robert H. "Bunny" Adcock Jr. is the vice chairman of banking corporation Home BancShares in Conway, Arkansas. Adcock is the former coach of men's and women's golf teams at the University of Central Arkansas.

Adcock spent his childhood in McGehee, Arkansas, where he sold peanuts on Main Street. Remembered Adcock, "That's where I learned how to sell. I learned margins. I knew how much the bag cost me and what I was going to sell it for." He attended Arkansas Tech University and graduated with a business degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Adcock entered the banking business by working at First National Bank of Conway, now part of Regions Bank. He moved to Brussels, Belgium, in 1976 when appointed state representative of the European Trade Office. He was an aide to Governor Frank White and a Reagan administration lobbyist. Adcock has also served as vice president of the UCA Foundation, president of the Arkansas Development Finance Authority, and as the state's bank commissioner. He is also a cotton farmer and very involved in the Arkansas Jaycees.
