Jonathan R. Bates

Jonathan R. Bates is president and chief executive officer of Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bates, a physician, became president and CEO of the hospital in 1993. Bates is a former instructor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School who specializes in ambulatory medicine and emergency medicine. He is also former senior vice president of Children's Hospital and Health Center in San Diego, California, and administrator at Memorial Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach, California.
