The Joe Hogan Fish Hatchery on U.S. Highway 70 in Lonoke County is one of the largest fish hatcheries in the world. The 267 acre hatchery is named after Joe Hogan, the first Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Supervisor of Fisheries.

The Joe Hogan Fish Hatchery is known to be the "largest state-owned warm-water fish hatchery in the country." It raises bream, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, striped bass, and hybrid striped bass. Almost four million fish are produced at the farm each year. The hatchery has a visitors center and aquarium, as well as an observation platform.
