Fourche Dam is a former post office stop on the Arkansas River in Pulaski County. Fourche Dam is located four miles east of Little Rock. The population of Fourche Dam in 1892 was 50. The postmaster at the time was E. N. Chenault and a general store was located here called Chenault & Yountz.
