Delta Classic

The Delta Classic is an annual football game played between at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. The full name of the event is the Delta Classic 4 Literacy game, to highlight literacy challenges in the Mississippi Delta. The game is played between historically black football teams. The first game matched Grambling State University and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff on October 13, 2007. The final score was Grambling State 30, UA Pine Bluff 24.

The event is organized by Fitz Hill, head football coach at Arkansas Baptist College. Hill administered a similar event called the Literacy Classic while coaching at San Jose State University.
