Max D. Gold

Max D. Gold was a Jewish Little Rock businessman and owner of women's clothing store Gold's House of Fashions at 317 Main Street. Gold opened his doors in 1964 after purchasing a clothing store operated by Eugenie Frank née Stifft. By 1973 the business had expanded to include two branch stores. In 1979 his son Don Gold took over operation of the stores.

Gold was a president of urban renewal organization Downtown Little Rock Unlimited. He helped establish the Farmer's Market in the downtown district in the 1990s.
