Carlisle

Carlisle is an incorporated city in east-central Lonoke County, Arkansas. The city is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 and Arkansas Highway 13. The city is served by I-40 interchange 183. Carlisle Cemetery is near on the north side of the interchange, and the Carlisle Municipal Airport two miles east of the cemetery. Other notable sites include an historic Esso gas station. The population of Carlisle is 2,304.
