The Scott Street School (also known as City High School) opened in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1885. The school replaced the city's first public high school, the Sherman School. Scott Street School was located at the intersection of 14th and Scott streets. It was replaced in 1890 by the Peabody School at the corner of West Capitol and Gaines streets.
