Lollie Bottoms is an agricultural bottomland near the Arkansas River in southwestern Faulkner County, Arkansas. The Lollie Levee at the west end of the area holds back the river. The levee was constructed after the devastating Great Flood of 1927, which submerged the city of Conway to the east. Tupelo Bayou is located here.
One hundred African American sharecroppers established Lollie Plantation here in 1880. Children on the plantation attended the Julius Rosenwald School.
Lollie Bottoms is the future site of a new $25 million Conway airport to be built beginning in 2011. The airport will have a 5,500 foot runway.
