James Moore Loughborough (November 2, 1833-July 31, 1876) was land commissioner of the St. Louis, Iron Mountain, and Southern Railway. Loughborough served as a Confederate colonel in the American Civil War.

Loughborough was born in Kentucky and raised in Missouri. His grave can be found in Mount Holly Cemetery in Little Rock.
