William E. Darby

William E. Darby (1904-1979) was president and chairman of the board of Little Rock's National Old Line Insurance Company.
Darby began working as an insurance agent at National Old Line Insurance Company in 1929. Darby grew the company and negotiated its merger with the National Equity Life Insurance Company. Darby retired in 1972.
Darby was also a cattle and thoroughbred horse breeder.
