S. Charles Bolton

S. Charles Bolton is chair of the History Department at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Bolton is the author of Southern Anglicanism: The Church of England in Colonial South Carolina (1982), Territorial Ambition: Land and Society in Early Arkansas, 1800-1840 (1993), Arkansas, 1800-1860: Remote and Restless (1998), and co-editor of the volume A Whole Country in Commotion: The Louisiana Purchase and the American Southwest (2005).
