Roller Skating in central Arkansas has waxed and waned in popularity several times over the past century.
Perhaps the earliest skating rink in the city of Conway took place at City Lumber Supply. There was another skating rink on Harkrider Avenue. The Conway Roller Rink on East Oak Street remains open.
