Pulaski Empowerment Zone

The Pulaski Empowerment Zone (PEZ) is a program of tax incentives and small business loans designed to "promote economic development in distressed areas" of Little Rock and North Little Rock. The program was created in January 2002 and is set to expire in December 2009. The PEZ covers 17.2 square miles, encompassing fifteen census tracts in both cities.

The current Pulaski Empowerment Zone manager is Eyona Scott Mitchell.
