Promenade at Chenal
The Promenade at Chenal is an open-air shopping center at the intersection of Chenal Parkway and Rahling Road in west Little Rock.
The original announcement for development of the 340,000 square foot Promenade was made April 2004. Current tenants include Limited Too, the Chenal 9 & IMAX Theatre, Maggie Moo's Ice Cream & Treatery, Aeropostale, Coldwater Creek, and Destination Maternity. The center has yet to reach full occupancy and its grand opening has been delayed to Spring 2009.
Developers call Promenade a "lifestyle center." Other open-air lifestyle centers in the Little Rock area are the Pleasant Ridge Town Center, Shackleford Crossing, and Midtowne Little Rock.
The Promenade at Chenal is owned by RED Development LLC of Kansas City, Missouri, and Scottsdale, Arizona. The marketing director for Promenade is Sherry Duggin.
