Osborne Christmas Lights

The Osborne Christmas Lights were the largest private display of holiday lights in the nation. The display was created by Jennings Osborne for the first time in 1986. Within seven years the display grew to three million individual lights. Highlights of the display included a giant globe that flashed the words "Peace on Earth" and Mickey Mouse driving a locomotive.
The light displays sparked a string of lawsuits. Since 1995 the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights sponsors displays in thirty-two Arkansas cities.
