Moonshine

Moonshine is any distilled beverage made illegally in any still unlicensed with local, state, or federal governments. Moonshine is usually not properly treated or put in wooden barrels and aged like a proper whiskey is. Because of this it usually has a very broad range of flavors that can sometimes be very different than what one is expecting. Also, there is a danger that, if the moonshine was not treated or distilled correctly, it could have dangerously high contents of alcohol or other chemicals that can cause major problems when consumed.
