Mifflin Wistar Gibbs

Mifflin Wistar Gibbs (1823-1915) was the Pulaski County Attorney in the 1870s and the first elected black municipal judge in the United States.

Personal life

Gibbs was born in Philadelphia on April 17, 1823, to Jonathan and Maria Gibbs.
