Jim Kennedy

Jim Kennedy is a former communications director of the Clinton Foundation.

Kennedy had been an eighteen-year veteran in the offices of Senator Joe Lieberman, where he also served as communications director. Kennedy in February 1998 began working in the Clinton administration as special advisor to the White House Counsel. In June 2000 Kennedy was announced as vice president Al Gore's director of communications. Kennedy succeeded Laura Quinn in the role of communications director.

Kennedy is also a former director of issues management for Standard & Poor's in New York City, and former legislative assistant to Representative Jim Mattox.

Kennedy is a native of Wallingford, Connecticut, and graduate of the University of Rochester (bachelor's degrees in history and political science) and American University (master's in public affairs journalism). He is married to Nancy Cintron Kennedy and has a daughter Ileana Beatriz.
