Horace is a former country post office stop located fifteen miles southwest of Little Rock in Pulaski County, Arkansas. In 1892 the postmaster was John A. Ellis. In that same year there was a manufacturer of chairs here under James H. Cooper, a general store operator and constable named John A. Ellis, and a justice of the peace Robert Jackson.
