The Little Rock Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank sets monetary policy and engages in economic research and education in the western two-thirds of the state of Arkansas. The senior branch executive is Robert A. Hopkins.
The Little Rock Branch of the Fed (District No. 8) was created in 1918 as a clearinghouse for cash and checks. Since 2003 check processing has been handled by the Memphis Branch.
The Little Rock Branch is housed within the Stephens Building at 111 Center Street in downtown Little Rock.
