Steamboat Eagle

The Steamboat Eagle was the first steamer to ply the waters of the Arkansas River from New Orleans to Little Rock. The 118-ton Eagle irregularly served Little Rock beginning with its first landing on March 16, 1822. The steamboat was captained by G. Morris.
