Butler Center for Arkansas Studies

The Butler Center for Arkansas Studies is a department of the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) for the propagation of Arkansas history and culture. The Butler Center was established in 1997 with an endowment from Richard C. Butler Sr. The Butler Center has a research fellowship program. Research fellows assist the Center in the development of research collections. The 2008 Fellow is Hendrix College political science professor Jay Barth.
