Linda Bloodworth-Thomason
Linda Bloodworth-Thomason (1947- ) is a writer and producer of several notable television shows including the CBS sitcom Designing Women, Evening Shade, Hearts Afire, and Women of the House. She is married to co-producer Harry Z. Thomason.
The Clinton Library orientation theater at the Clinton Library features a twelve minute film about the life and political career of Bill Clinton produced by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason. The film utilizes footage shot for Clinton's 1992 and 2000 Democratic Convention videos.
The exterior of the Villa Marre home in the Quapaw Quarter of Little Rock is recognizable as the fictional Georgia home of Sugarbaker Designs from Designing Women.
Bloodworth-Thomason was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
