James "Jimmy" Hudson was the manager of Winrock Farms on Petit Jean Mountain. Winthrop Rockefeller first met Hudson, then a detective in Harlem, in 1937. Hudson worked for Rockefeller until 1960, excepting some time during World War II when he worked for other members of the Rockefeller family. In 1960 Hudson departed from Arkansas to join Nelson Rockefeller's New York State Labor Commission.

Jimmy Hudson Drive on Winrock property is named in his honor.
