U.S. Highway 67 cuts through central Arkansas at an angle from southwest to northeast. The highway runs parallel to Interstate 30 as it enters the state at Texarkana. In central Arkansas the highway passes near Haskell before merging with the interstate. The route turns north at the University Avenue exit in Little Rock. The highway turns off University onto east Asher Avenue until it intersects with Broadway. The route follows Broadway north across the Broadway Bridge, then east to its intersection again with I-30. The highway is briefly marked along Interstate 40 where it merges with I-30 in North Little Rock, but then quickly exits again to follow U.S. Highway 167 northeast out of the metro area. The highway passes through Jacksonville and Cabot before exiting central part of the state. The highway leaves Arkansas north of Corning.
