Gypsy's Grill & Bar is a former restaurant located at 11401 N Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock, Arkansas. The restaurant is near the Market Place Shopping Center. Gypsy's billed itself as a place where "World Cuisine Goes Casual." Gypsy's closed on January 31, 2009, when the owner, Denis Seyer, retired after 29 years in the local community to manage a companion restaurant in the Cayman Islands called Harvey's Island Grill.
Born in Gerardmer, France, Seyer first moved to Little Rock in 1975 to take a position as chef in the French Restaurant Jacques et Suzanne on the thirtieth floor of the Regions Bank Building. Seyer later opened his own French restaurant Alouette's, where wait staff donned tuxedos to serve dinner guests.
Gypsy's had been open about six years when it closed in 2009. The restaurant's space will be re-occupied by The Pantry, a restaurant serving central European cuisine. The Pantry is owned by Czech-born Thomas Bohm.
