The Parterre Garden is the formal garden area on the grounds of the Arkansas Governor's Mansion. The Parterre Garden is framed by pergolas and has as its centerpiece a fountain surrounded by paths forming the shape of a diamond, the state gemstone. The garden is surrounded by a privacy fence of holly trees.
