Ballet Arkansas is a nonprofit organization for ballet performance and education in Little Rock. Ballet Arkansas began in 1978, building on the work of the earlier Little Rock Civic Ballet. Performers at Ballet Arkansas have included Cynthia Gregory and Mikhail Baryshnikov. The company runs a dance school called Shuffles and Ballet II.
The ballet company is recipient of a Stream Award from the Southwestern Regional Ballet Association Festival. Ballet Arkansas sponsors include the Little Rock Convention and Visitor's Bureau, the Peabody Hotel, Target, Twin City Printing, Footlights, the Arkansas Diagnostic Center, the Best Western Governors Suites, and Employee Benefit Services.
