Coleman Creek runs through the campus of UALR on its way south to the Fourche Creek wetlands on the south side of Little Rock, Arkansas. The headwaters of the creek is near the intersection of North University Avenue and Cantrell Road.
The creek is named for local farmer Eleithet B. Coleman. The farm eventually developed into Coleman Dairy.
