Al Franken performed his comedic routine "An Evening with Al Franken" at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre during the Clinton Library dedication celebration in November 2004. Proceeds from the performance funded the Kaufman & Hart Prize for New American Comedy. The appearance was sponsored by local philanthropists Cindy and Chip Murphy.
