The Butler Center for Arkansas Studies is a department of the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) for the propagation of Arkansas history and culture. The Butler Center was established in 1997 with an endowment from Richard C. Butler Sr.
During a week celebrating the Clinton Presidential Center dedication in November 2004 the Butler Center hosted an exhibition of memorabilia from all nineteen presidents since Herbert Hoover who visited the state of Arkansas. The exhibit featured life-sized cutouts of the presidents, beside which visitors could pose.
