Arkansas Highway 10 begins at Hackett in the western part of the state and terminates at its interchange with Interstate 30 in the River Market of downtown Little Rock. The highway runs mostly west to east, passing through scenic mountain territory and very near Mount Magazine and Petit Jean Mountain. In central Arkansas Highway 10 passes through Casa, Adona, Perry, Perryville, Thornburg, Williams Junction, Greystone, DuQuesne Place, Johnson Ranch, Tully Cove, Secluded Hills, Piedmont, Normandy-Shannon, Cedar Hill Terrace, and the River Market.
