David Alsobrook is the first Director of the Clinton Library and former Clinton Presidential Materials Project Director.
Alsobrook, with an initial staff of four archivists, began creating finding aids for the collection in October 2000. His staff spent the next four years organizing the movement of documents, artifacts, and other media from the Clinton administration from Washington, DC, to Little Rock's Clinton Library Archives.
Alsobrook was named director of the Library on May 5, 2004.
Alsobrook began his career with the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington, DC. He is a veteran archivist of both the Carter and Bush, Sr. presidential libraries.
