Mitch Chandler is communications director for the Arkansas Department of Economic Development (ADED). He was named communications section chair in November 2003. He succeeded Andy Mayberry who left ADED in August 2003.
Chandler has worked in numerous different television jobs for KATV, KLRT, KTHV, and KARK in Little Rock, and also WJXX in Jacksonville, Florida. He recieved a 1998 Emmy Award for his coverage of the 40th anniversary festivities marking the integration of Central High School.
