Kevin McClurkan is a Polshek Partnership architect and Little Rock native. McClurkan became the on-site project manager for Clinton Library construction. Bill Clinton wanted an architect for his Library who represented youth, but who had connections to a mature firm. Remembered James Polshek, "We'd been told he wanted a young architect, but at the same time a firm with sufficient seniority and experience. So we went down there as - I hate the term - an intergenerational tag team."
