'''J. V. Satterfield Jr.''' was a Little Rock banker and mayor of Little Rock from 1939 to 1941. Satterfield was past president of the [[Arkansas Municipal League]] in 1941, and also served on the board of the [[Little Rock Housing Authority]].

Satterfield was president of the [[People's Bank]] beginning in the late 1940s. People's Bank was renamed [[First National Bank of Little Rock]] in 1953 during a move to new offices at the corner of Third and Louisiana streets. The bank eventually merged with [[Commercial National Bank]], becoming known after the merger as [[First Commercial Bank]].
