Chief Petty Officer Troy O. Deere [Unknown D.O.B.] – 25 October 1944

Personal History

Deere was born in Leola to Mrs. Boss Deere. He lived in Little Rock and married Mrs. Marie Ann Deere. Deere worked at Southwest Hotels, Inc. He attended Arkansas State Teachers College from January until August 1939. He joined the United States Navy as a torpedoman in October 1, 1942, and attained the official rank of torpedoman 2-C. He served in the Philippines.

Deere went missing in action on 25 October 1944 in Leyte, an island in the Philippines.
