Stone Dam Creek begins in Conway as a drainage ditch near the intersection of Watkins and Scott streets. The creek runs south and crosses Donaghey Avenue near the President's House at UCA. The creek travels underground beneath a parking lot before reemerging near Reynolds Performance Hall. The creek crosses Dave Ward Drive on the southern edge of campus and then turns southeast towards Lake Conway. Sallie Cone Creek joins Stone Dam Creek west of the bridge on South German Lane. Before reaching Lake Conway the creek merges with Railroad Creek.
