Rose Law Firm is the third oldest law firm in the United States and the oldest west of the Mississippi River. The firm is also the oldest business in continuous operation in the state of Arkansas. Rose Law Firm was founded in 1820.

By 1918 the firm was known as Rose, Hemingway, Cantrell, Loughborough & Miles for the partners George B. Rose, Wilson Edwin Hemingway, Deaderick Harvell Cantrell, James Fairfax Loughborough, and V. M. Miles. The firm then served as counsel to the Mercantile Trust Company, the German Trust Company, the Little Rock Railway & Electric Company, the Western Union Telephone Company, the Aluminum Company of America, and the William R. Compton Company.

Hillary Clinton was the first female partner in the firm. She practiced law here from 1981 to 1992. The firm is located at 120 East Fourth Street in Little Rock, Arkansas.
