Megna resides in Riverside, California, and is an expert on tax increment financing. He left Little Rock in 1989 to become project manager for the City of Riverside Development Department.<br />

Megna is currently a consultant to the [[City of Little Rock]]'s [[Midtown Redevelopment Advisory Board]] on the [[Park Avenue]] retail redevelopment effort, which replaces the defunct [[University Mall]]. <br />

Megna's mother was special education professor [[Ada Jean Thompson]] at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.<br />
