'''Paron''' is an unincorporated town in northern [[Saline County]], Arkansas. The community is on scenic [[Arkansas Highway 9]] near the boundary of the [[Ouachita National Forest]]. [[Paron High School]], shuttered in 1996, and [[Paron Elementary School]] are located here. The community is now part of the [[Bryant School District]]. The [[North Fork Saline River Bridge]], built in 1944 just north of Paron, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

In March 1952 an F3 tornado struck the community, destroying a church, home, and barns, and doing significant damage to other structures.
