Morrilton Male and Female College

Morrilton Male and Female College was established in Morrilton, Arkansas, in 1890. The school, located on East Church Street, was originally led by co-principals Thomas P. Murray and W. B. Trow.

Act 98 (1891) of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas prohibited the sale of alcoholic beverages within ten miles of the school.
